I first used essential oils as a kid. My mom brought them into our home long before they became trendy. I have a tendency to collect them now. I love to use them in DIY cleaners and bath products like homemade bath bombs. I also love to diffuse them.

We have several diffusers in our home. It’s such a great, natural way to make your home smell wonderful. Conventional air fresheners and plugins give me headaches and often even trigger asthma attacks. Using essential oils allows me to have wonderful smells in my home without the ill effects.

While not everyone suffers from headaches and asthma due to artificial fragrances they do contain things like phthalates which are an endocrine disruptor and not something any of us wants in our home. Essential oils are a great alternative.

I’ve used many brands of essential oils over the years but one of my favorites is Plant Therapy. They are affordable and have a huge range of scents to chose from. It’s the only place I’ve seen coffee essential oil and their vanilla is so much better than others I’ve used. Vanilla has quickly become a favorite essential oil in my house.

Plant Therapy also has sales all of the time which is a great way to build up your stash. I also love that they put labels on the top of the lids. This may sound like a weird reason to like a product but I store my essential oils in a drawer and it makes it so easy to find the ones I’m looking for.

I love these blends. I just found your blog and plan to visit often. It’s nice to see someone still blogging instead of just posting on social media. 🙂

Where do you put the oils? Do you have to add some kind of liquid to fill the container then add the oils

These are used in diffusers. You can purchase them from Plant Therapy, Amazon, and most stores that sell essential oils.
