Since I started wearing vintage clothing and vintage-inspired clothing I’m often asked where the best places to shop for vintage clothing are. There are so many shops these days both in-person and online stores.
This guide will be for the vintage clothing stores you can find online as they are the most easily accessible for people. I also recommend checking your local thrift stores and antique stores. I’ve purchased some beautiful vintage cardigans and even a beautiful vintage fur collar coat (seen below) from local antique stores.
I mostly buy and wear vintage-inspired pieces as they are easier fine, easier to care for, and come in a wider range of sizes. It’s nice to have some real vintage pieces, like my coat, so this guide will have a mix of places that sell both.
My personal favorite places to shop are Unique Vintage, ModCloth, and eShakti. They all have really great vintage-inspired clothing.
