I was going through my recipe box where I kept favorite recipes before the days of Pinterest. I found several recipes I used to make often that I had forgotten about.

One was this simple recipe using crescent rolls, chicken, and cream cheese. It’s so simple yet really tasty. It had been a favorite but I stopped making it when we switched to more whole foods and natural diet.

Last year I discovered natural crescent rolls and it’s a game changer. I have made them as crescent rolls which is delicious and I made cranberry cream cheese danishes around the holidays. And now I finally made the crescent chicken bundles again.

It’s a great kid-friendly recipe. You can also dress it up and add some onion, herbs or whatever you like to it. You could even leave them plain for the kids and just add the other ingredients to the ones being eaten by adults. It’s also easy to double the recipe for a bigger crowd.

I like to cook a bunch of frozen chicken breasts or a frozen whole chicken in the Instant Pot to use for recipes like this. A rotisserie chicken also works well.

This is a recipe I will be making often again now that we have natural crescent roll dough available. I plan to also play around with it to make other fun recipes and I will share the good ones with you!
