The Erin Condren Petite Planner is another great planner option if the Life Planner wasn’t your thing. Thinking about getting one? Check out this full review. I was given the planner for free to review, all thoughts are my own.
I don’t like to have it all in the one calendar because it gets overwhelming so I wasn’t sure what the best answer was. Then I saw the Erin Condren Petite Planner Folio System and thought maybe that could work.
If you aren’t familiar it’s folio planner system that you use to have four planners in one package. It makes it easy to customize and keeps everything in one place.
It’s the system I’m going to try out for 2020 and I wanted to give you my thoughts after buying the Erin Condren folio and Petite Planners.
Erin Condren Petite Planner Folio System Review
The first thing you want to do is pick out your folio. There are many beautiful options and they can even be personalized. I choose the Lagoon folio.
It’s very pretty and feels like it will hold up very well with a lot of use. I like that it’s something I buy once and can use year after year. I will say the Lagoon color was a bit greener in person than I expected but still very pretty.
I love that the folio came with a dust bag. It would be nice to have a couple of different ones to change it up from time to time and when you need to store one you can keep it clean and safe in the bag. It would also be nice for travel.
After you have your folio picked out you need to decide what will go instead of it. You have four different elastic cords that can hold different Petite Planners.
There are a lot of different Petite Planners to choose from. Since they are simple to switch out you can even get more than four and just switch between different ones when you need them.
At this time these are the options for the Petite Planners. There are also new ones coming out all of the time.
- Daily Planner
- Daily Customizable Agenda
- Monthly Customizable Agenda
- Checklist Journal
- Budget Book
- Meal Planner
- Travel Journal
- Wedding Checklists & To-Dos
- Pregnancy Journal
- Baby Tracker
- Gratitude Journal
- I Am Enough Journal
- Self Care Journal
- Goal Setting Journal
- Lined Journal
- Dot Grid Journal
- Blank Journal
For my folio, I decided to go with a daily planner, two monthly agendas, and a lined journal. I have two monthly agendas so one can be work and one can be personal. I also already have the goal-setting journal that I can use if I want to.
It’s very easy to set up your folio system. Just open your Petite Planner and slip one of the elastic cords through the middle of the planner, continue until you have your folio filled up.
You can leave the planners inside of the folio while planner or it’s easy to take them in and out. I like to take mine out to plan unless I’m just adding a quick note.
The Petite Planners are really great little planners. They are 5.7″ x 8.25″ and use high-quality paper. Many of them also have built-in back pockets perfect for small sticker sheets (which many come with) or notes.
Some people may find them too small for all the planning they do but I found the size to be just right for me and I love how easy it is to take this planner with me.
An added bonus for me is the sticker sheets. The planners come with a sticker sheet plus you can buy more Petite Planner sized stickers. I love planning with stickers so I’m glad there are stickers that fit in the planners perfectly.
This system is not the cheapest planner option out there but the actual folio only has to be purchased once and some of the journals may even last you more than a year.
The folio and four Petite Planners are $76 but there is usually a discount for your first four Petite Planners when you buy the folio and there are bundles often for when you need refills.
Overall I think this system may be the answer to my struggles with having multiple planners to deal with. I love how flexible it is so I can change it up as needed.
