Over the years I’ve tried many different planners. The three that I use the most often are an Erin Condren Life Planner, Happy Planner, and the Erin Condren Petite Planner.
They are all great systems and today I want to share about the Erin Condren Petite Planner to help you decide if it’s a good option for you.
Erin Condren Petite Planner Review
The first thing you want to do is pick out your folio. There are many beautiful options and they can even be personalized. I have a few different folios so I can change it up when I feel like it.
All of the Erin Condren folios I have are very well made and even the one I’ve had for 4 years is still in perfect shape. It’s important to me that the products I buy hold up and last. One of the most sustainable things you can do is buy high-quality items made to last and these folios hit that mark.
After you have your folio picked out you need to decide what will go instead of it. You have four different elastic cords that can hold different Petite Planners.
There are a lot of different Petite Planners to choose from. Since they are simple to switch out you can even get more than four and just switch between different ones when you need them.

You can mix and match on your own or choose one of the Petite Planner bundles. You can also create your own bundle and when you do you will save money.
It’s very easy to set up your folio system. Just open your Petite Planner and slip one of the elastic cords through the middle of the planner, continue until you have your folio filled up.
You can leave the planners inside of the folio while planning or it’s easy to take them in and out. I like to take mine out to plan unless I’m just adding a quick note.
The Petite Planners are really great little planners. They are 5.7″ x 8.25″ and use high-quality paper. Many of them also have built-in back pockets perfect for small sticker sheets (which many come with) or notes.
A new item that Erin Condren has released for the Petite Planners is the On the Go Folio Organizer. It’s a plastic insert that slides into the Petite Planner without taking up any of the planner spaces! There are 3 small pockets, 2 medium, and 1 large pocket. It adds so much functionality to your folio.

If you are trying to decide between the Erin Condren Life Planner and an Erin Condren Petite planner this can help you compare the two. They are both great planner systems but they are very different so it’s likely that one is better for you than the other.

The biggest thing to think about when trying to choose a planner is size and do you want the ability to have multiple planners or journals in one planner system?
If you only need one planner and don’t like to use journals as well the Life Planner may be your best choice but if you want more planning options the Petite Planner is likely for you.

My Final Thoughts on the Erin Condren Petite Planner
Some people may find them too small for all the planning they do but I found the size to be just right for me and I love how easy it is to take this planner with me.
An added bonus for me is the sticker sheets. The planners come with a sticker sheet plus you can buy more Petite Planner-sized stickers. I love planning with stickers so I’m glad there are stickers that fit in the planners perfectly.
This system is not the cheapest planner option out there but the actual folio only has to be purchased once and some of the journals may even last you more than a year.
Overall I think this system may be the answer to my struggles with having multiple planners to deal with. I love how flexible it is so I can change it up as needed.
