This winter has seemed very long and I’m ready for spring! Spring also means it’s time to start some spring cleaning. I made a new spring cleaning checklist to make it easier.

This is one of those times that I really like having a smaller home, less to clean. The organizing part is more important and a bit harder but it’s overall still better if you ask me.

Over the years I’ve started using a 1940s spring cleaning routine and it really helps make it all easier. The routine is spread out over weeks so you are never having to spend too much time on your spring cleaning which can be overwhelming.

I use a spring cleaning checklist for that routine but I also like to have the tasks I need to get done on a list divided by room so I can make sure I get everything I want to done.

That’s where my free printable spring cleaning checklist comes in and helps make my spring cleaning much easier!

I love this spring cleaning checklist because it has everything divided by room. Cleaning room by room is a really good and easy method. It also is a good way to organize your tasks.

I like to put it in a sheet protector so I can use wet erase markers on it and use it over and over again. You could also laminate it if you are more on the ball with those kinds of things than I am.

I keep the filled out sheets in my home management binder so I just have to pull it out when I’m ready for spring cleaning. One less step I have to worry about.

Once I have the printable all set up and ready to go I just have to gather my other supplies and I can get started. No wondering where to get started or what still needs done.

I could have used your printable in the winter. I start right after gardening season is done. I am in purge mode right now!

Wow. You’re so organized Lisa. Thanks for sharing your printable. I’m afraid to print it out since it probably will stay blank! Just not sure where to begin 🙂
