There is something magical about Christmas movies from the mid-century. There were some really good classics throughout that time that have stood the test of time.
I grew up watching It’s a Wonderful Life with my family every year after we put up the Christmas tree. I’m pretty sure we could put the movie on ourselves by now.
I still watch it every year and I also love to watch other classics like White Christmas and Miracle on 34th Street. And now with streaming it’s easier than ever to enjoy these classics.
I’ve rounded up a list of my favorite classic Christmas movies that are available for streaming this year so you can also enjoy these wonderful movies with your family.

What’s the Best Streaming Service for Classic Christmas Movies
If you don’t generally have a lot of streaming services or you are looking to add just one this holiday season I’d suggest Max. They have a lot of classic Christmas movies as well as more modern movies. It’s a good all around streaming service for the holidays. If you have AT&T Wireless you may have a free subscription to Max making it a really good choice because what’s better than free?
Don’t forget if you have Amazon Prime you can use Prime Video for free and they also have some good Christmas movie offerings. You can also rent some of the ones on this list for very little so that’s another good option. If you don’t have a Prime subscription you can get a 30-day free trial to enjoy over the holiday season.
