I love taking a hot bath to relax at night. It’s a great way to practice some self-care and can help you sleep better. I especially love a hot bath with some bath salts or bubble bath in a relaxing scent.

Making your own bath salts is a great way to make sure the best ingredients are used, it’s cheaper, and you can use essential oils to make your own scents.

One of my favorite essential oil blends is Peaceful Sleep. It’s a lovely blend of orange, tangerine, lavender, chamomile, ylang-ylang, and sandalwood essential oils.

Putting the essential oil blend in bath salts is a great way to use it and they are so simple to make. I can have a batch whipped up in just a couple of minutes.

The bath salts I like to make fizz which is a fun touch and they have oil in them to help make them more moisturizing, which is important since baths can dry out your skin.

I recommend doubling or even tripling this recipe to make these as gifts. Just add a ribbon and cute tag with the instructions and it’s a really great gift.
