In the hurry in the morning but don’t want to just eat cereal? Try these delicious make-ahead breakfast recipes.

I’m not really a morning person. I’m learning to use them better and not hate them as much but I still am not a fan. Planning the night before is more my thing.

I haven’t even been a big breakfast eater, a cup of hot tea will keep me pretty happy. However, studies keep showing that breakfast is important so I’m trying to eat at least a small breakfast. Lately, I’ve just been making a piece of toast and heating up a couple of Applegate chicken and apple sausage, which is delicious but you need variety.

I’m starting to work on more breakfast foods I can make ahead. Something I can pop in the toaster oven, while some water is boiling for my tea, and I take my dog out for a quick walk in the morning is perfect for me.

With everyone being so busy these days there are some really great make-ahead breakfast options showing up. It used to seem like breakfast burritos were your only option and that’s fine if you enjoy eggs, I don’t. Now there are all kinds of delicious recipes out there! No more cereal or eating the same food over and over.

These look great, and I love make-ahead breakfasts because I am NOT in the mood to do much at 6:30 a.m. when I haven’t even finished my coffee! I definitely want to try the healthy breakfast cookies. My kids would be thrilled if I told them they were having cookies for breakfast. 🙂
