Explore this fun curated collection of Mad Men-inspired outfits that bring all the charm back from the show to your wardrobe. Step back into time with these outfits that are inspired by the show.

Does anyone else miss the tv show Mad Men? I still rewatch it from time to time. It’s one of my all-time favorite shows. Not only is it a good and interesting show that shows some of the ugly side of the mid-century and doesn’t just glamorize the era but it also is just beautiful to look at.

The designers did such a good job on both the Mad Men outfits as well as the set design. It’s clear that so much research was done to keep everything as authentic as possible.

If you are also missing the show and love the Mad Men outfits you can still enjoy those looks. I’ve put together some ideas to create outfits inspired by your favorite women on the show. Personally I would wear these outfits anytime but if wearing vintage-inspired fashion isn’t your thing they would still make fun Halloween costumes. I hope you enjoy these looks!

Mad Men Inspired Outfits

Enjoy these Mad Men inspired outfits. Many of the pieces can also be mixed and matched to create your perfect look.

Joan Inspired Outfits

These are a few different pieces that fit that classic Joan look.

Red Plaid & Black Trim Wiggle Dress

This plaid wiggle dress would have been the perfect work outfit for Joan.

Black Pencil Skirt

A black pencil skirt is a classic for even a modern wardrobe and also perfect for a Joan look.

Retro Tie Neck Jersey Top

This cute top would be perfect with the pencil skirt or with some cute high waisted pants.

Betty Inspired Outfits

Betty's style on Mad Men was my favorite. It's close to the kinds of things I wear regularly.

Fit & Flare Red Dress

This dress would have been a more casual look for Betty.

Navy Fit & Flare Dress

For a more formal occassion this navy dress would be the perfect dress for Betty.

Slip Petticoat

For Betty's look you will want a petticoat to get the full 1950s feel.

Peggy Inspired Outfits

Peggy had a very different style than Joan in the office but still some beautiful looks.

Red & Brown Plaid Snap Front Pinafore

This look is something Peggy would have worn early in the show.

Ivory Neck Tie Blouse

Don't forget this beautiful blouse to complete the first look.

Houndstooth Fit & Flare Dress

Not sure about the fun print but the style is very Peggy.

Megan Inspired Outfits

Megan has more a fun style and more 1960s for sure.

Black Mock Neck Fit & Flare Dress

This shorter dress is the sort of thing Megan would have worn out on the town.

Red Velvet & Pink Heart Mini Dress

This adorable dress just screams 1960s and is a great Megan dress.

Places to Shop for Mad Men Inspired Fashion

In addition to all of these great looks you can find similar styles available at many great stores. These are some of my favorite places to shop for vintage-inspired fashion.

  • Unique Vintage
  • Hearts of Haute
  • ModCloth
  • Belle Poque on Amazon
  • Pin Up Girl Clothing

And my favorite place for vintage-inspired shoes to complete any of these looks is BAIT Footwear. I have several pairs of shoes from them and I always get so many complements when I wear them.

You can also use these pieces to mix into your modern clothing. It’s always fun to mix up your look so enjoy and have fun!

Super lovely outfits! It’s soooo hard to come to grips with MM wrapping up this year. It’s been my favourite TV series since it started and I’ve ever single episode (most twice or more), as has Tony. I loved that it was something vintage related we both adored and couldn’t wait for the next season of. Hopefully we can find another historical series that we’re both as wild about (we like Masters of Sex, which is fabulous, too, but I think we’re both bigger MM fans).

Have a joyful Easter Sunday, dear Lisa!

It is, it’s such a good show. Have you watched Call the Midwife? I really like it as well. Happy Easter to you as well, Jessica!

Love your selection for these MM gals! Super cute looks that work so well right now too. I’ll miss the show too when it ends, but maybe that empty space will be filled by another great show (one can only hope).
