Amazon Prime Day is like Black Friday but in July and often better! Get great deals that are exclusive to Amazon Prime members.

Amazon Prime Day is back in the summer this year and less than a month away. It’s on Tuesday, July 12 and Wednesday, July 13, 2022, and it’s a great time to get some of the larger purchases you’ve been putting off or even get a head start on some Christmas shopping.

There will be deals on electronics, clothing, movies, toys, home goods, toys, and lots more. There are even special deals leading up to Prime Day.

Not an Amazon Prime member? You still have time to sign up for a free 30-day trial that you can use to take advantage of the great deals.

How to Get Ready for Amazon Prime Day

Before you even make your list for Amazon Prime Day you’ll want to earn some free gift cards to use during the sale to maximize your savings! Here are some ways to do that.

Complete Your Amazon Stampcard – This year Amazon has a stampcard for Prime members that allows you to get a $10 credit after your complete all 4 activities before Prime Day.

Sign up for Fetch Rewards – Fetch Rewards is my favorite way to get cashback. It works with Amazon, grocery stores, and more. You just scan your receipt or it can scan your email and you earn points for every receipt and more points for special purchases. Just for signing up using the code TN8EW you can get 2,000 points. You only need 3,500 points to get a $3 Amazon gift card!

Sign up for Swagbucks – Swagbucks is another easy way to earn points for gift cards. You can use those points to get Amazon cards to use during Prime Day! Just for signing up and getting started you’ll get a $5 bonus!

Once you have signed up to get all the extra money to spend during Prime Day be sure to make your list. You can even get a printable list to help you stay on track with your shopping on my Christmas blog.

Find Great Amazon Prime Day Deals

Be sure to follow Retro Housewife Goes Green on Facebook and sign up for my mailing list below. I plan to share some of the top deals on both places during the sale.

You can also check the Amazon website during the sale. Of course, they will be advertising all the deals and there will be a lot of them!

Now is a great time to get started on your Christmas gift lists. You can use the printable list that’s a part of my Christmas planner to keep track. Once you have your list simply watch for great deals you can use to save money this Christmas.

Shop Competitors for Deals

Target has announced Target Deal Days is back and it will be July 11-13 so you even get an extra day of deals to shop from.

You can also get cashback while shopping at Target and other Amazon competitors by using Rakuten. This is a great way to save even more. Plus if you haven’t used Rakuten before you can get $30 just for making your first qualifying purchase!

Don’t forget to sign up below to get information about Amazon Prime Day delivered to your inbox.

Sharing is caring!
