Tuna sandwiches made from canned tuna are one of my go-to lunches. I eat a tuna sandwich multiple times most weeks. It’s a bit surprising since I don’t tend to love fish or mayo. Go figure.
When looking at vintage recipes there are some really interesting ones and those I won’t be sharing today. No tuna in jello or whatever a tuna pizza is. I mean I say that, but honestly, maybe it’s okay and maybe I should try it? Let me know in the comments!

Canned tuna is a great affordable ingredient that has a lot of health benefits. I do prefer to choose a brand with lower mercury and one way to do that is to choose kipjack tuna.

Canned tuna is affordable and accessible which makes it a great protein to use in easy dinners. You will be surprised how many ways there are to use canned tuna.
I have to start with a classic, the tuna noodle casserole. This is from my mom's blog and is a bit of an updated version.

Looking for something a bit more modern? Try this crispy Rice Sushi Tuna Salad. It is a fresh, high-protein dish featuring crunchy oven-baked rice tossed with a flavorful sesame-soy dressing.
