Clutter makes our homes look messy and it can even cause stress. A great way to tackle the clutter issue is with one of these decluttering challenges.
A few years ago when we were moving to this house I did a lot of decluttering. I hate moving and moving more stuff seemed like a really terrible idea.
Ever since I have tried to keep on top of clutter but it has a way of sneaking back in. Our current house is 1,350 square feet and we both work from home so we have two home offices. That means we really need to keep on top of things.
If I’m being really honest I’d prefer going to The Container Store and picking out lots of great organization tools than actually do the work to declutter and then organize. Anyone else?
One thing I like to do from time to time is a decluttering challenge. It really helps me get motivated to do a really good job on the clutter.
We’ve talked about moving again in the future and that thought alone is enough to make me really want to be sure I do these challenges often. Did I mention I really hate moving?
I’ve found some great decluttering challenges over the year so I wanted to share some of my favorites with you. Pick the one that looks the most interesting to you and tackle that clutter!
