If you are trying to grocery shop less often and make food last longer you are likely wondering what you can freeze. I have been freezing a lot more lately and while a lot of things can just go in a container in the freezer somethings need a bit more care and making sure you freeze things correctly can help maintain their quality.

My freezer is key to how I grocery shop once a month.  It’s amazing all the things you can safely freeze. Yes, you really can freeze milk and freeze eggs.

How to Freeze Meals

What about full meals for later? Making freezer meals is a great way to reduce your workload and even reduce food waste. Each type of meal usually has different instructions for freezing. Most casseroles can just be wrapped tightly and put in the freezer, it’s one of the easier freezer meals.
