There are so many planners out there how do you pick? Check out these are some of the best planners out there that are perfect for homemakers.

For years I went without a planner. I would just write things on a calendar, use my phone, or just scrap pieces of paper. I forgot things all the time and it was not very organized.

I used a Day-Timer planner for a while and that was fine. I made my own planner for years and that worked well but was a fair amount of work. Then a few years ago all of these fancy planners started popping up.

Honestly what really made me want to get on the planner wagon was planner stickers. I’ve always loved stickers and arts and crafts so this really appealed to me. I know to some that seem a bit silly but being creative with planning keeps me on track because I enjoy it and something about a colorful page makes more sense to me.

Now there are so many planners out there. From very basic ones to bright and cheery ones packed with extras. There is also a huge price range. Some planners can get pretty pricey but you can still find some really good ones for reasonable prices.

I find using a planner essential now. Like most homemakers, I’m juggling many different responsibilities, and trying to keep track of all of that in my head or just on a piece of paper would be challenging.

Before picking the planner I have used for a few years I did a lot of research and I continue to check out new planners. I want to share what I’ve found in the planner world to help you pick out the best planner for you.

Best Planners for Homemakers

These planners aren’t just for homemakers but they can easily be used by homemakers to make life a bit more organized. We all have so much going on it can be hard to keep track, these planners can help!

Happy Planner

I’ve used a Happy Planner off and on. It’s a great option if you like to be able to add pages to your planner. It makes it very customizable.

I also love all of their expansion packs and they have many other accessories including stickers. It’s also more affordable than many options out there right now. They also come in three sizes and they now have a bound option if you prefer that.

My favorite part about Happy Planners is that they have a Disney line. I love the Disney planners and the stickers. You can even use the stickers in other planners if the planner isn’t your favorite.

These planners and accessories are available at a lot of craft stores as well. I always got mine at Michaels using one of their great coupons, be sure you are enrolled in their reward program as well.

Price: $21.99+

There are a few layout options available for these planners, the covers are customizable, and there are a couple of size options now, including some softbound options. These are a bit on the pricey side but they are a big fan favorite.

I have used an Erin Condren planner for at least one of my planners for a few years now. The quality is just hard to beat.

Erin Condren has a newer planner option that is totally different than the other options they have offered. It’s the planner I used in 2020 and I really enjoyed it.

With the PetitePlanners you can either use them on their own or get one of their folios which holds four planners. It gives you a lot of flexibility because they have all types of planners you can mix and match. I personally used two monthly planners, one for personal use and one for my business. And I used a daily planner and a notebook.

I have always bought low priced planners,or made them with a binder. This year I splurged a little and bought a higher priced planner. However I have barely used it. Some of these are beautiful but the higher priced ones are truly out of my budget and if I end up not using it, it would be another waste of money.

A friend had a Filofax, which looked wonderful. I went to their website and was overwhelmed by the choices. I will check them out again and see how their prices are. Thanks for including some budget planners here.
