While I enjoy cooking, my real love is baking. My grandmother taught me to bake and to love baking. She also shares my major sweet tooth. While our favorite thing to bake was peanut butter cookies, we also baked with chocolate every once in a while. And we both love chocolate!

Since I was a kid I have loved baking for others, especially when they needed some cheering up. One time I baked chocolate chip cookies for the local college ministry during finals week. This is the same place I met my husband. Coincidence?

Baking a chocolate treat is a simple gesture but one that can really brighten someone’s day. I can’t wait to try these recipes. The hard part is deciding which to try first!

The Best Chocolate Dessert Ingredients

Before you get started baking these chocolate dessert recipes you need to gather your ingredients. Using high-quality ingredients can help you make sure you make the best desserts possible.

You don’t have to spend a lot of money on good ingredients though! Thrive Market is my favorite place to shop for baking supplies that are high-quality but also affordable.

It’s an online grocery store focused on natural, high-quality food that is delivered to your door for amazing prices. If you want more information on Thrive Market be sure to check out my review.

I’m not a huge chocolate fan – but those recipes look delicious! Don’t forget to encourage people to buy fair trade chocolate.

Very good point. I did share a lot about Fair Trade products in a newsletter I sent out earlier this month. I’ve also been sharing on social media. 🙂 I wish more companies would make the switch.
