Fizzy Peppermint Bath Salts are an easy homemade Christmas gift that can even be made as a last-minute gift. It smells amazing thanks to essential oils.
Christmas is my favorite time of the year, some people go crazy about pumpkin spice but for me, it’s peppermint everything. I love the scent and flavor.
Since I was a kid I’ve enjoyed making gifts for people. It’s such a great way to give someone a unique gift from your heart. It also can help stretch your budget.
Some homemade Christmas gifts can add stress to the holiday season. They can be time-consuming and required a lot of uncommon supplies. You can even end up spending more on them than if you just bought something pre-made.
Sticking to more simple homemade Christmas gifts is a good plan unless you have a lot of extra time and it’s something that brings you a lot of joy.
A gift I’ve made many times is bath salts. They are very simple to make but are such a wonderful gift. A nice warm bath with some nicely scented bath salts can make for a very relaxing time, something many need after the holidays.
There are only three ingredients needed for these and it’s really easy to increase this recipe to make a lot of them at once. It’s a really good last-minute gift.
I also recommend making yourself some of these bath salts and stick them in your bathroom for a night this holiday season when you are feeling a bit stressed. Taking care of yourself will help you enjoy the season and avoid feeling stressed out. Stress can also weaken our immune system and being sick around the holidays is the worst.

Optional Supplies Used
Adding a cute tag to the containers finishes off this fun homemade Christmas gift. I used my Silhouette Cameo, Silhouette Sketch Pens, baker’s twine, and Christmas washi tape to create cute tags.
I simply used the tag cut file that comes with the Silhouette and typed my own text to use with the Sketch Pens. It was really simple and didn’t take much time at all. It’s really nice if you are making several.
I added a bit of Christmas washi tape that I already had and tied them on with red and white baker’s twine. It’s a very simple and quick Christmas gift that can be made last minute.
You can even create a fun gift basket with these peppermint bath salts, some peppermint bath bombs, and peppermint lip scrub. Throw in some tea or hot chocolate for a perfect self-care gift basket.
Don’t forget to add this project to your Christmas planner so you remember to make it. It’s an easy task to get marked off your Christmas to-do list.

I am in love with the Trader Joe’s Grapefruit Sugar Scrub, and have tried making my own coffee scrub… yeah, not good. Tub o’coffee anyone?

Oh2122: I ended up buying more supplies than I need and was glad I did, I have made myself some as well. 🙂 And don’t talk about Trader Joe’s we don’t have one anywhere around us. 😉
Heather: Your welcome.
Joy: greenfeet.com . I believe the health food store in Arlington center also carries them but not sure on price. I was ordering from Green Feet already so I just ordered it without checking.
