It has been almost a month since I’ve blogged. This year has been off to a crazy start. If you follow me on Facebook you likely know I didn’t even get my Christmas tree put away until the very end of last month. This wasn’t because I wanted it out that long, I was just too busy to get it put away.
I’ve been dealing with extra fatigue, I already have a lot from Fibromyalgia, since the fall. I was starting to get concerned and I was thinking about going to the doctor to see if something was wrong. I was putting it off because I had found out I was vitamin D deficient and my doctor had put me on a pretty high dose and I wanted to see if that would help. I also struggle with a B12 deficiency and at times low iron, these can also cause fatigue.
However, in November I was eating at a local restaurant with my husband when I got really dizzy, felt like I was going to pass out, and my vision got really blurry and everything was really bright. We went home and I checked blood sugar and it was normal. I have food allergies but my breathing was fine so it didn’t seem to be an allergic reaction. I took my blood pressure thinking it was possibly too high, high blood pressure runs in my family, and it was very low for me. After taking it for a few days I noticed it was dropping quite low, at one point it was 85/56.
This has meant having an echocardiogram, 24 hour heart monitor, an EKG, blood work, and other testing. So far all we know is I have sinus tachycardia (which we already knew but it’s worse than we thought) and my blood pressure drops seem to be random. My doctor can’t find the cause so I’m currently waiting to get into a cardiologist to have more testing. With one of my doctor appointments lasting around 4 hours this has been pretty time consuming.
I’m also now working on a new business. Soon we will be launching and I will share more about that. It’s exciting and a business that is needed in my area but starting a new business is a lot of work. With meetings and all of my responsibilities for the business it’s been crazy the last couple of months, it will be worth it though.
Yesterday I did finally got pretty much caught up on housework. It’s finally back to the point where I can just do a little bit everyday to keep up with it and when I have time I will tackle bigger projects that aren’t urgent. Now I’m working on getting caught up on blogging and with Green Oklahoma.
Once I’m caught up on everything I’m wanting to create a schedule so I can stay caught up. I’m not a big fan of schedules but with so many responsibilities I need one. When I create one I will be sure to share it. And hopefully it will mean I will be back to regularly posting here.
