August Oklahoma Food Coop Haul
|August 17, 2013||Filled under Food|
This past Thursday was the pick up day for the Oklahoma Food Coop. I love that my town finally has a pick up location for the coop. Every month I go it seems like there are more people picking up wonderful, local food. Oklahoma may not seem like the most eco-friendly place to live but we have some really great local food. The Oklahoma Food Coop is one of the best local food coops in the country!
So if you are curious about what I got, here you go.
- Sweet Banana Peppers
- 2.5 lbs of pastured chicken tenders
- 2.5 lbs of pastured chicken breasts
- 5 lbs of grass-fed beef
- Cinnamon Pumpkin Seeds
My mom and I are going shopping this coming week so I will have my grocery haul next week. I also hope to share some recipes soon, including some freezer meals. If you have requests for types of recipes let me know.
If you post food hauls, I’d love to see them! I’d also love to hear if you are a member of a food coop or CSA. Share in the comments below.
