My Favorite Natural Makeup
|February 2, 2013||Filled under Beauty|
I love makeup so when I found out so much of it was toxic I was concerned. I couldn’t really see myself doing without and I had no idea if I could find natural alternatives. Thankfully there are a lot of great options out there. I thought I would share the makeup I personally use and like.
Everyday Minerals foundation is amazing. I have very fair skin and finding a foundation that worked for my skin was always hard but thankfully Everyday Minerals has a ton of options and will let you get a sample kit to find your right color. You can mix them if they don’t already have your perfect shade. They also have different coverage options.
I also use Everyday Minerals for concealer though I haven’t tried the newest formula, I’m guessing it’s still great.
Everyday Minerals Finishing Dust is great for helping set your makeup, it also reduces shine.
I don’t wear blush often, as I have naturally very rosy cheeks, but I own a few from Everyday Minerals. They have a lot of nice options.
I have a bit of an eye shadow obsession. Everyday Minerals has a wide range of eye shadows and the photo above is my collection. For some strange reason my husband thinks I don’t need more but there are a couple of new shades I think I REALLY need, like Blooms Of Dusty Lilac.
I have a few of Everyday Minerals eye liners that I love, they are loose powders so it took a bit for me to get used to them but they stay on well and I really like them. I also just got a Creamstick Eye Liner from 100% Pure in Black Pearl. I love it, it’s very smooth and easy to use.
I had been using Honeybee Garden’s mascara, it’s very nice but it was a very light mascara, not intense at all. I decide to try the one from 100% Pure this time and I love it! It smells really good because they use fruit pigments and it’s a bit heavier than the Honeybee Garden’s. It seems to stay on well, as well.
I really like Everyday Minerals lipsticks. They are very smooth and don’t have a weird taste or smell. They colors do change all the time so if you find one you love, buy a couple.
For lip gloss, which I wear more than lipstick, I really like 100% Pure. They have a lot of color choices and they all smell really good.
I’d love to hear about your favorite makeup as well, just let me know in the comments.
