Some Good News For Fair Trade

Some great things have been happening for the Fair Trade movement! First Green & Black announced it will be going to 100% Fair Trade. Fair Trade is nothing new to Green & Black, their Maya Gold chocolate bar is Fair Trade and has been for over 15 years.
Green & Black is a leading organic chocolate producer so this is huge. Green & Black is owned by Cadbury, which in the UK has also switched Cadbury Dairy Milk and Kit Kat to Fair Trade as well. I hope the move to make Green & Black in the US Fair Trade will mean more Fair Trade Cadbury products in the future for the US.
And the news that had me extremely excited, Ben & Jerry’s will be 100% Fair Trade! Ben & Jerry’s is everywhere! Finally Fair Trade will have a large voice!
