Product Review: Zehn Naturals
| January 30, 2009 | Posted by Lisa Sharp under Uncategorized |

I LOVE this company! The shirts are so soft and have such wonderful messages.
They are 100% organic cotton. They have unique imagery, printed with earth friendly inks. And they are even made in the US.
The tag that comes on the shirts is a 100% recycled cotton fiber tag with fresh flowers and wildflower seeds. Just plant the tag and you will be keeping trash from ending up in the dump and helping save the honey bees!
They even donate 10% of pre-tax profits to benefit education, arts, healthcare, and the environment.
I got to try one of the shirts and I fell in love with it. It washes great and is great quality. I have since ordered three more shirts from them and plan to order even more.
They also sell all natural body care products, gifts, and eco-art. Even custom shirts!
Check out their shirts today. You will be glad you did!
Product Review: Simply Neutral

Simply Neutral is a great company that can help you clean your home naturally. It started when Maggie (one of the founders) had her second child and wanted to stay home so she worked part-time cleaning homes. The problem was all the chemicals started to bother her so she made her own cleaners!
Now you can have the joy of cleaning your home without all those nasty chemicals. And no worries about not getting things really clean!
The All Purpose Cleaner includes tea tree oil which kills all kinds of things, even toxic mold! No dyes, no VOCs, nothing but natural cleaning agents. I found it cleans very well and I love knowing it has tea tree oil and is helping kill germs.
The No-VOC Glass Cleaner cleans glass better than anything I have used. It doesn’t contain alcohol, ammonia, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), dyes, or synthetic fragrances.
Non-Abrasive Cleanser is great when you need some help scrubbing. It has the power you need, but won’t scratch delicate surfaces like porcelain, glass stove tops, or stainless steel. As with all their cleaners it’s free of all that nasty stuff.
They also sell deodorizer, a stainless steel cleaner and PureGreen24 a natural disinfectant.
To be even greener you can buy refills that are very concentrated. They make 6 refills and will save you money. All the bottles are made with 100% post-consumer recycled plastic as well!
Check out their cleaners you will love them.

Product Review: For My Kids
| January 27, 2009 | Posted by Lisa Sharp under Uncategorized |

For My Kids is a wonderful company I have reviewed before. Last time I tired the Vinegar of The Four Thieves which is still a favorite product of mine!
This time they let me try the All-Natural Comfrey Salve. It’s contains organic extra-virgin olive oil, candelilla wax, organic tamanu oil, organic comfrey, organic calendula, and organic lavender.
I have tried it so far on burns and cuts. It kept me from getting a blister last time I burned myself! It also healed a cut I had almost overnight. I even used it on a cut that had become a bit infected and it cleared right up.
This is a great product to keep in your purse and medicine cabinet, kids or no kids. It comes in ½ ounce, 1 ounce, 2 ounces, and 4 ounces. Check this product out as well as all the other wonderful products they sell!
Product Review:Garden Of Eve

Garden Of Eve is made by someone who has many of the same health problems I have, like Fibromyalgia. When you have things like Fibromyalgia and chemical sensitivities you have to be very careful what you use because you are very sensitive to everything.
She was a beauty and health consultant when she became aware of all the health risks that come along with all the chemicals used in normal beauty care products.
She became very ill after her office was remodeled. She knew she needed to do something to get healthy again. She studied all kinds of natural ways to help her health.
Soon she started Garden Of Eve and now all of us can have beautiful skin without all those nasty side effects.
I tired the Face Care Sampler Kit in Clearly Lovely. It didn’t dry out my skin which is huge! And it really leaves your skin looking so much better.
All the products are free of parabens, petroleum, synthetic fragrances, alcohol, synthetic dyes, and phthalates. They use products with as little processing as possible.
You can even get custom products. With all the options you have, you will be sure to find something.
Insomnia Sucks…..
| January 23, 2009 | Posted by Lisa Sharp under Uncategorized |
So about once a month I have at least a week where I will be unable to go to sleep until around 2 or 3 0′clock (sometimes later).
The latest bout started about two days ago. I’m so tired but can’t sleep. Last night I had to take a melatonin, 5-htp and some homeopathic meds to fall asleep at around 3 and then woke up every few hours, one of the times I felt really sick so think I need to eat something before taking all of that. I can take nothing on an empty stomach.
This whole zen thing isn’t happening yet haha. Right now I would be okay with high strungif I could just sleep.
I think tonight it will be melatonin, 5-htp, homeopathic and benadryl. What really sucks is I still don’t get more done with this whole not sleeping thing.
What do you do when you can’t sleep??
Can An Stressed/OCD Person Find Zen??

So my friend and I have been talking a lot about wanting to live a more eastern type lifestyle because we are both so tense and stressed all the time but how do you go from that to zen?!
I know I need to do yoga everyday (been about every other day lately), meditate and eat better but what else can we do? Any good tips for us totally high strung girls?

Buy Nothing..
| January 21, 2009 | Posted by Lisa Sharp under Uncategorized |
So my husband has been sick all weekend and still is so I’m just now getting around to blogging and reading blogs but my mom on Monday posted a blog challenge to buy nothing (or very little) for the next two weeks.
I’m doing this for household stuff and what I buy. I don’t like to force my husband in to doing things like this. (or anything haha)
We only go grocery shopping once a month (other than milk) so I think this is a bit unfair for me. Also I’m cheap! Always have been.
So anyway since Monday we have gotten a half gallon of ice cream. I think that is all. Again this so isn’t fair for me but check out my mom’s blog and try it yourself.
