So I had a polo shirt of my husbands that was in to bad of shape to donate on freecycle but I didn’t want to throw it out or just make rags out of it like I did with the t-shirts that were in bad shape. So here is what I did…

There are four buttons to replace buttons and/or use for crafts, 14 rags, 1 ball of yarn, and lots of shirt left to make some more yarn.
I need to practice making yarn more but I think I did okay for the first time. I made the collar in to 4 thicker rags that will be good for heavy scrubing, a few little cloths and a few big cloths. I have another t-shirt I may make in to yarn another day.
Here is the trash I was left with, the scissors are there for scale.
