I challenge you guys to either write a list or take a picture of the cleaners in your house. How green are you really living?

Post a link to your blog, myspace or where ever you have your picture and/or list. I will add you to the list once you do so.
And here is mine-

Method O-Mop All Flour Cleaner
Salt
Method All Surface Wipes
Method Window Wash
Method All Purpose Spray
Baking Soda
Baking Soda mixed with cinnamon
Biokleen Bac-Out
Seventh Generation Bathroom Cleaner
Biokleen Soy Toilet Scrub
Pure Ayre Odor Eliminator
Method Genuine Leather Wipes
Shaklee Basic H2
Shaklee Basic H2 wipes
Hydrogen Peroxide
And the two non eco-friendly cleaners under my sink-
Clorox Anywhere Hard Surface
Bar Keepers Friend
I haven’t found something to replace either of the two non green cleaners above. Also the cleaning wipes are for my husband so he doesn’t have to find the right cleaners to use if he needs to clean something. And I have micro fiber clothes and old t-shirts cut in to rags for cleaning, I don’t use paper towels.

Bar Cleaners friend isn’t actually supposed to be all that bad…I assumed it was, but supposedly it is not. Nevertheless, I have found that Bon ami (borax I believe) is a good replacement, so that is what I use now. If I get the time I will definitely join this challenge…First I have to get through 2 birthdays and 1 wedding over the next 3 days!
I LOVE baking soda. I won’t show you what’s under my sink because I have a lot of old product that I am going to use up since I have them anyway, but baking soda is great! I also use a lot of vinegar for wiping down surfaces – it kills germs and the smell goes away once it dries.
I don’t actually keep my cleaning supplies under my sink so all you’d see is the bags for re-use and dish gloves.
Okay. Maybe I am weird, but this was actually fun to do. Thanks for the challenge! You can see my cleaning supplies behind this link!
Now that I’m a dog mom I clean my kitchen floors with vinegar and dish soap. My vet told me that many commerical floor cleaners have the same chemicals as anti-freeze which is toxic to pets!!
I’m curious, how do you use the salt, baking soda w/ cinnemon (sp) as cleaners?
Under my sink you would find empty bags and dirty rags. But I did post about my cleaning supplies if you want to go over and look.
I just did a post on the types of cleaners and fire extinguisher I keep under my sink.http://condo-blues.blogspot.com/2008/07/budget-friendly-kitchen-cleaners.html
You won’t find any cleaners under my sink – I have jar of baking soda and (well diluted) dishwashing soap on the top of my sink. That’s what we use for washing our dishes. The dishwasher is my storage container for the gallon of vinegar and brushes!! Hey, works for me!
