Thankful Thursday *Updated*
| February 29, 2008 | Posted by Lisa Sharp under Uncategorized |

I have to say what is on my mind right now that I’m thankful for is Ron Paul. He has made me believe in this country again and I feel I have learn a lot because of him. When I hear him talk about something I don’t know about I go learn about it. So what I know about the American government has grown a lot this year. And I have gotten more active in politics. I’m a member of a meetup group, went to a “debate” at the local college, and may go to my distract convention this weekend. In some ways it’s fun to do all of this stuff but it’s also a bit depressing at times. For one I think we will be voting between Obama and McCain and I don’t like either and I was really hopeful that I wouldn’t have to vote for the lesser of two “evils” this year. But I really do think we will still see change. Ron Paul woke a lot of us up and we won’t be shut down to easily.
I’m very thankful that he ran this year and that he is staying with it all the way!!! I hope more people like him will go in to politics now.
*update*
I wanted to add for the Christians and pro-life reading this, Ron Paul is pro-life. As an OB/GYN he saw an illegal abortion while in med. school which shocked him and made him sick and it has made him for much pro-life. He tried to pass a bill that would have made a fetus a life. Also he is trying to get “Roe Vs. Wade” over turned which would let states ban abortions. Even “Roe” has become very pro-life and is backing Ron Paul.
Also as far as my anti-war views, I do support the troops. I think getting them out of there is the best thing we can do for them. Oh and Ron Paul does want to go after Bin Laden, he is not in Iraq.
Oh and I am going to my district convention tomorrow. I’m a delegate, yay!
Sewing!

I sewed my first item! It’s not great but hey it was by hand (no machine) and first time, other than sewing buttons and holes. So I had those fabric samples which were a great size for a needle book, I have seen a few but I just made this up. Remember first time people! lol
I had left over Winnie The Pooh stickers so I have a Winnie The Pooh needle book.

I have a really bad memory due to Fibromyalgia. I have tons of post-it notes but I have a way of losing those plus it’s such a waste of paper so my wonderful husband got me a Blackberry and a dry erase board which both help a lot but I also use this site-

It’s free, they will send you different types of alerts and all kinds of neat things. Be sure to check it out.

So I have used my Shaklee dryer sheets so time for a review.
They are wonderful! I love my Method ones but these were much better. Everything is full of static right now with our dry winter weather but these got rid of all of it, even on my satin sheets. Now I have tried to use half a sheet and then it doesn’t work as well as the method ones but if you use a whole sheet they are better. Then again they should be since they cost a lot more.
I don’t know that I will buy anymore because of the cost but they are very good so if you can’t get Method and want a natural dryer sheets or you are a member of Shaklee, you should try these.
By the way you can put the sheets in with your recycling when you are done.
Get the facts!

I’m so tired of seeing this Obama is a Muslim forward. IT’S FALSE!!! It’s not Obama that didn’t use the bible it’s another senator! Find out if something is true before you forward it! Second he can’t help what his name is, get over it.
Also why are we so pissy if he was Muslim? Didn’t this country start for religious freedom? Someone please tell me when we became a Christian nation. Not all Muslims are going around bombing stuff, just like not all Christians are.
Yes I brought it up, Christians take our faith to far as well and bomb abortion clinics and there is that “church” that protests our soldiers funerals.
